Degas' Little Dancer

By Wesley Middleton

Directed by CTM Artistic Director Roseann Sheridan; Choreography/Movement by Madison Ballet Artistic Director W. Earle Smith

CTM’s spring production, Degas' Little Dancer, celebrates the beauty of following your heart’s desire and daring to dream. In this whimsical time-travel fantasy, a contemporary teen becomes the ballerina model for Degas’ most famous sculpture. The production features lots of dancing and a wonderful peek into the famous painter, Edgar Degas’ life and world in 1880 France. This magical play will delight kids who love to dance, adults who love art and parents who want their children’s talents to soar. Can dreams come true? You Better Believe It!
