As You Like It

In honor of the 150th anniversary of Milton College's charter, the Milton College Preservation Society is proud to revive the college's long tradition of annual Shakespeare performances with a special presentation of "As You Like It."

"As You Like It" was chosen because it was performed on campus in 1917 to commemorate the 50th anniversary of Milton College. During the college's history, "As You Like It" was performed seven times, first in 1907 and its final time in 1965.

Auditions will be held on the following days:

Audition dates: Saturday, April 8 & Sunday, April 9 at 2:00 PM at Main Hall, 513 College Street, Milton.

We are seeking four females, age 20 - 30 and eight males, age 20 - 60.

To prepare, actors should look at the abridged script at

Be familiar with a speech of your choosing, which you will read. We may also read a scene from the script.
