A Christmas Carol Radio Play

By Philip Grecian

Directed by Melissa Schnepper

A Christmas Carol Radio Play is by Philip Grecian, based upon his play and the novel by Charles Dickens. The original Dickens story is all here: Scrooge turns away charity workers and bullies his clerk, Bob Cratchit. His dead partner Jacob Marley makes a visit while the sound effects crew shakes chains and the organist plays eerie chords. The Ghost of Christmas Past takes Scrooge to Fezziwig’s party, The Ghost of Christmas Present leads him through the streets of London, and the Ghost of Christmas Yet to Come shows Scrooge his fate if he doesn’t change. Actors play multiple roles, sound effects are created live on stage, and live organ music adds to the dramatic effect!
