1000 Channels is a comedy troupe based out of Racine, WI.

The name "1000 Channels" is based upon the disposal of brain cells put forth by having access to over 1000 Channels on television at our fingertips.

In Spring of 2006, Ryan Ripp held auditions for 1000 Channels at the infamous 600 Villa St. location. Many came in, but only eight would comprise the first ever cast of 1000 Channels. These talented eight would go on to perform throughout the summer at Uncorkt, the first home of the Racine troupe.

For 2007, new opportunities helped the troupe moved to a new rehearsal building. Also, they are now performing at a new location, the 2nd floor of the Racine VFW at 820 S. Main St. Ripp assembled another cast, including a few familiar faces and some new talent.

What does 2007 have in store for 1000 Channels? You’ll have to come and see for yourself.
